Trans-Pacific travel has now resumed as of October 15th, allowing our guests to return to O‘ahu without the need to quarantine upon arrival.
The pre-travel testing program requires that all travelers be tested for COVID-19 with a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT), conducted in a CLIA certified laboratory. The Lt. Governor also stated that the Abbot ID now test will be an option as well, during his recent Facebook live session.
Tests must be conducted within 72 hours prior to departure to Hawai‘i with a negative result. (Check the most up to date guidelines as there is some confusion as to if it's 72 hours prior to arrival. This should be cleared up shortly.)
The State of Hawai‘i will ONLY accept test results from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS. The mail in laboratory Vault Health is also an approved testing partner.
A full and up to date list is available at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/
Hawaiian airlines, Alaska airlines, American airlines and United airlines have all announced that they will be offering testing at select airports. Please check with your airline to see if this might be a good option for your visit.
