Reduced COVID Restrictions as of October 20th

Due to the decrease in the number of COVID cases in Hawaii, socials gathering for professionally organized interactive events such as weddings, will be expanded from the current 25 people outdoors to 150 people. This goes into effective on October 20th, 2021.

Professional managed events such as concerts will allow up to 1,000.

Outdoor capacity for seated entertainment events such as luaus will be set to 50% of the venues capacity.

Indoor capacity including bars, restaurants, gyms and churches continue at 50% capacity.

Bars will be able to stay open until midnight, expanded from the previous 10pm.

According to health.hawaii.gov, 72% of Honolulu County's population (over 12 year old) have been fully vaccinated as of October 8th.

Honolulu County of which Ko Olina is part of, will continue to required showing of your vaccination card to gain entrance to indoor facilities such as restaurants, bars, movie theaters, etc. You may also show a negative COVID test result from a State of Hawaii approved testing center, taken within 48-hours of entry into the facility. This requirement is currently set to expire by Nov 13th.

A negative COVID test result or proof of vaccination continue to be accepted in lieu of a 10-day quarantine period for visitors to the State.
